"On Pilings"
A view out my bedroom window one recent morning, of a nearly mirror-smooth bay. It's hard to tell where the pilings enter the water, and merge with their near-perfect reflections. Times like these, when the bay is this still, are rare here; and shortly after I took this shot a boat passed by, spewing a wake of distortion.
