Another image - 7th in this series, so far - from a nearby marina. The marina itself is called Four Corners Marina, but it's also home to Alhambra Marine Repairs, and is located in Seaford, NY - directly across from Seaman's Neck Park. I don't recall what this cargo crate is on the back of, but it caught my eye - especially when contrasted against the gray-blue gravel of this boatyard.
With a wide-open f4 aperture, while shooting at ISO 50, the shallow depth of field really isolates the sharp geometric shapes in the foreground. The softer, rounded forms of the stones makes for a pleasing, complementary background.
