"Coe Hall Exterior #2"
The second to last image I have to post, in this series on Coe Hall, 'the house' at Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. This second - and last - photo was shot while the dogwoods were still in full bloom, back on May 30th:
"Planting Fields Dogwood #2"
I shot six frames of this dogwood, shortly before we left the arboretum that day, but I still didn't capture what I saw adequately. That's why I'm appending this image to today's Picture of the Day. This will finish this series, which now consists of 14 posts consisting of 16 images.
Tomorrow, before finishing a series I shot at William Floyd Estate - in Mastic Beach, NY (of which I've already posted one image - "William Floyd Estate - Family Cemetery" - as it was, in my opinion, too good a photograph to wait for), I have another too-good-to-wait-for image I want to post first. It's of a Black-Crowned Night Heron which I shot from my back deck, as it was perched on a line that runs from my floating dock to my housebarge.
