This monument is located at the top of Main Street in the town square of Nashua, NH. The inscription reads: "A tribute to the men of Nashua, who served their country on land or sea during the war of the rebellion and aided in preserving the integrity of the federal union.
This is the third image in what will eventually be a large series on our trip to New Hampshire. We started in the southeast corner of the state and, after spending three days in the upper middle, ended up the last two days of our trip at Umbagog Lake State Park, which straddles the border of Maine and New Hampshire, in the northeast corner of "the Granite State."
