11/12/11 - "Along the Androscoggin River #2"

Fine Art Prints and Framing

On our final morning in New Hampshire, back in early August, I tried to interest Sally in a last attempt to spot a moose. She declined to leave the relative comfort of the cabin at 5 am and, naturally, an hour or so I did get to see one. He was standing on the side of Route 16, somewhere between the small towns of Errol and Berlin, in the northeast corner of the Granite State - a stone's throw from western Maine. Alas, I failed to get a picture of him, as he bounded into the woods while I reached for my camera, after a few seconds of staring.
