American Night Heron - Reflected

More commonly known as the Yellow-crowned night heron, this seasonal visitor to the coastal New York area is very similar in appearance to the Black-crowned night heron. This one was spotted this morning, along the bank of Seaman's Creek - about a half mile away, as the boat motors, from our home.
