This fence-framed vantage is of a housebarge, at the other end of the marina where I - along with my lovely wife Sally - reside, in our own version of a waterfront-lifestyle dream. Our way of living is being threatened by the potential building of nine more suburban, nearly-$1,000,000.00 "McMansions."

In the end, however, Hurricane Sandy ended our hopes of being able to remain in this paradise. We ended up like this, instead.
