Fire Island Bound
Aboard a ferry heading to Sunken Forest at Sailor's Haven a week ago, while immediately in front of us are the ferries going to Cherry Grove and The Pines, respectively. After walking the mile and a half-long boardwalk at Sunken Forest, which is within Fire Island National Seashore - and a part of our National Park Service - we walked to Cherry Grove, and eventually returned to Long Island aboard a ferry from The Pines.
