"Look here, Ma."

     This photograph, which was captured on November 28th of 2012 - almost exactly one month after Superstorm Sandy forever changed our lives on the bay, may prove to be the last sighting I'll ever have of EA 98, whom I've been acquainted with for the last five years. 

     Each year I've watched her and her mate raise a new flock of cygnets; and it was only this past spring that I discovered this location on a canal in Seaford, which seems to be their annual birthing site. I'll miss watching them grow up, and slake their thirst from a hose on our dock.
