A Surrealist's Home 2
Fine Art Prints and Framing.
The house reflected in this window was the home of Kurt Seligmann (1900 - 1962), who was a Swiss-American Surrealist painter and engraver. His widow, Arlette Seligmann, bequeathed their entire 55-acre Sugar Loaf, NY estate to the Orange County Citizens Foundation, shortly before her death in 1992.
While this image is similar to the picture I posted earlier today, the focus is on the home this time; and the waviness of the old glass in this window pane lends, to my eye, a slightly surrealist flavor to this capture.
