Self Portrait
Seven and a half years ago I had my first skin cancer removed, via Mohs Micrographic Surgery. Today. there's nary a scar remaining.
While only local anesthetic was used for the actual surgery, I consumed a few ounces of oral anesthetic before arriving at the doctor's office.
Fortunately, those days of self-medicating ended shortly after this operation. And about 10 days after I did stop drinking, I broke my right foot on the job.
This was actually a blessing, as it gave me more time to get the help I needed.
