Common Mullein
(Verbascum thapsus)
This image highlights the central portion of a Common Mullein which, with a few others, grew this summer in a large section of our property that I let grow undisturbed.
I was amazed by the different varieties of wildflowers (or what some may refer to as merely weeds) that grew in profusion, all of their own accord. I photographed, and learned to identify, quite a few plants I never knew of before, as a result of this experiment.
