Million Dollar Beach
Million Dollar Beach is the largest and most well-known beach in Lake George, offering lifeguards, showers, picnic areas and plenty of room to swim.
Down the road past the Steamboats on the way to the east side, you'll find the most popular beach, Million Dollar Beach. This beach is state run, very clean and family friendly with trained lifeguards on duty. Admission to the beach is "free" but the parking is $10 car and $4 per motorcycle. Million Dollar Beach has the best changing rooms and most "sand" of all the Lake George beaches. Teenagers will prefer Million Dollar Beach, which is packed with people and has a sandy volleyball court and a very nice locker area. The beach features a full-time, public boat launch - the only free launch in Lake George's Southern basin.
