Delaware Aqueduct Detail
This photo is of a cast iron pier saddle from John A. Roebling's Delaware Aqueduct, which was built in 1848. In those days it carried canal boats over the Delaware River; nowadays this is a bridge - which is near Hawley, PA and Narrowsburg, NY.
