"Cold Commute - Merrick"
For those of you who may have clicked on a link to this blog entry and received a message stating: "Page not found. Sorry, the page you were looking for in the blog The Next Step does not exist." I apologize. Seems I inadvertently deleted it while messing around with adding a link to Amazon.com this morning.
I was accepted into AdSense yesterday, after initially being rejected a month ago for not having enough words and links in my blogs. It's an attempt to start generating some kind of income stream from the work I'm putting into my photography, as sales of my prints are not yet occurring. I also became an Amazon Affiliate - meaning that I'll get a small commission for purchases made there via click-throughs from my blog ads.
Yes, I've 'sold-out' in a sense; and, as a result, I am - ironically - also paying the price. I'm going to have to try and re-create that blog posting from memory. Yesterday's Picture of the Day was another photo from my train ride into the city on Sunday, during the early hours of the blizzard that later paralyzed much of the northeast. I also edited and posted a black and white version:
I prefer the original, full color version - as the few features that do exhibit any chroma really seem to pop in that first image.
I have also, for the first time, added a link to a street level view of this location from Google Maps. Please check this out, as I think it's pretty cool to be able to compare the two slightly different perspectives, from two different seasons.
