"Bayhouse Deck and Dock"
Today's picture of the day is another shot from yesterday's visit to the bayhouse at 699 Ned's Creek, situated in the waters off the southern shore of Merrick, New York. The bay was still extremely high, an effect of the recent full moon; and much of what looks like open bay in this photo is actually the island this house rests on. While I was here, I made 44 exposures. A few more of these may become pictures of the day too, as I find these locations to be very photogenic. The artist inside of me comes alive, and I see objects in a different light, whenever I travel to one of these few remaining island getaways.
