"Immobility"
While this image of a bicycle chained to a tree - on the sidewalk outside of 30 Rockefeller Center - was captured last February, it's even more indicative of the weather we've been having this winter. There has been snow on the ground almost continually for a month now, ever since the blizzard that struck on December 26th and 27th. And it doesn't seem like it's going to let up anytime soon, as we're facing another round tomorrow. The Weather Channel is calling for a Nor'easter, with heavy snow possible.

After checking my work calendar for last year, it appears that I worked on a remote for SNL at NBC that day, for a skit called "Unknown Bosses." I can recall nothing of that 10+ hour shoot today; but I vividly remember shooting both today's and yesterday's Pictures of the Day.
On a different note, today is the one year anniversary of our return from Iowa - when Sally and I started our new life together in New York. Happy Anniversary, baby - I love you! Our paths have
finally united, since that first crossing over 40 years ago. XOXOX
