"30 Rock Snowfall 3 - Day"

          These two images were captured 6 hours apart, almost to the second. The angle of view (looking west first, then east) was different and I stood on opposite sides of the marquee while taking them. Both photos were shot on a Canon Digital ELPH SD1000, and saved on a 4 GB SD card. Both were edited (slightly) using Photoshop 7 on my Dell netbook computer, while I was at work. I then saved them on my Canon 5D's 8 GB Compact Flash card, and uploaded them (also while at work) via one of Fox 5 studios HP EliteBook laptops. Enough for product name dropping.

          My dream for the future is to be doing pretty much what I'm doing now - except for the working my ass off part, which I've been doing for 30+ years.  I envision Sally and I traveling the country, maybe in a small motorhome; and while I shoot, edit and upload my pictures - possibly to an agent back in NY, who could then market and sell them - Sally can continue her proof reading (which she's started doing part time, while still working at Macy's full time) and pursuing her creative writing. It's a pretty idyllic scenario, and it could prove to be the trip of a lifetime.

          As I'm eligible for early retirement later this year, this could happen sooner rather than later. But before undertaking such a trip, we'd need to have more of a second income to supplement my pension - either through sales of my pictures, or from her proof reading services and writing. So for the time being it's still a dream; but as a dream, I think it has a much better chance of coming to fruition then our plan B, i.e. winning the lottery. Hey, you never know! In the meantime we'll keep on keeping on, and enjoying as much of life as we possibly can.
