Today's picture is similar to yesterday's Picture of the Day, but from a slightly different angle and zoomed-in a touch tighter. Judging from these sculpures, and the fact that the main entrance faces to the east - a feature of Sthapatya Veda, or Vedic Architecture - I tend to believe that this immense, single family residence of 23,992 square feet (which has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms!) was either at one point a Center for Transcendental Meditation, or is currently home to a very well-off practitioner. The over 14 acre site also contains a large built-in pool, an adjoining cabana/pool house and a tennis court, at the end of a sinuous and immaculately landscaped 1/4 mile driveway. This property is listed as being the location of Northeast International, a company specializing in real estate and property management.
As a footnote, I tried searching for information on TM Centers, but it seems that the only way you can learn more about TM is to either call a toll-free number - where you can contact your nearest Certified Teacher - or fill out on online form.
