"Stained Glass Detail"
Another stained glass window the Coe's brought back from Europe, to be installed in their 65 room mansion. These works of art date from the 1200's and grace many of the rooms in this house, which is situated on the 353 acres of Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay, NY. This entire estate, including the original home of the Byrne family (which burned down on March 19th, of 1918) was purchased by Mr. Coe for $625,000 in December of 1913.
