A glorious black and white version, of this mid-afternoon capture, of the Pemigewasset River Covered Bridge. This 1886 "kissing bridge" is along the road that carries vans of visitors (who want to eliminate part of the hike up) to see Flume Gorge, at Franconia Notch State Park, near the heart of White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire.
This morning's edition of the blog marks the 22nd post, from our week-long vacation in New Hampshire, two weeks ago. There are still many more captured images I have to share, over the coming couple of weeks - including some of our trip up to the top of Mt. Washington.
