"Mt. Washington #4 - Peaks, False and True"
In this image the actual peak of Mt. Washington is on the low ridge, which has two vertical protuberances visible, on the left side of the frame. As this visage was captured from near the bottom of the mountain, the highest-appearing peak in this photo is either Mt. Adams or a part of Chandler Ridge, which is what the auto road follows on its way up to the peak.
