     This image was captured on Thanksgiving Eve, as my house barge - as well as two others - were being returned to the marina we came from via this large crane, due to the storm surge from Superstorm Sandy. After a week of not knowing whether our homes would be saved or destroyed, our rescues from the street, boatyard and a neighbor's yard where we came to rest was truly something to be grateful for.
