"Primrose Path Redux"

This photograph is a re-working of an image I originally shot on May 1st 2006. At that time I was using a Canon PowerShot S230 Digital Elph, with a grand total of 3.2 megapixels. It was my second digital camera: I'm now on my fourth. My first was a Casio, which only had about 1.1 megapixels - if I remember correctly. I bought that camera on the spur of the moment, at a local Staples, for around $500 in the late '90's - much to my now ex-wife's chagrin.
The original posting of Primrose Path on deviantART is the second most popular picture of mine there, having received 37 "Favourites": Peacock is first, by a long shot, with 86. Today's re-edited version has been saved at a higher resolution, cropped a little differently, and the levels have been adjusted - mainly consisting of toning down the highlights.
