For the first time since starting this blog, back in early November, there will be no Picture of the Day today. It's been a very long day - one that actually started when I woke up yesterday at about 6 am. Yes, I've had some sleep since then, but only a few hours at a time. I worked three eight hour shifts, starting at 3 pm yesterday, 4 am this morning and at 3 pm again this afternoon. In between I slept on couches, at the two studios where I was working.
In and of itself, that wouldn't have stopped me from editing a picture and posting it today. But a few other factors came into play, which I'm not going to go into tonight. Nothing horrible happened, but I just didn't have enough energy - both mental and physical - to deal with what did happen and still post a picture.
I hope that, after getting a good nights' sleep in my own bed tonight, I'll be able to resume with Picture of the Day tomorrow. In the meantime, many thanks to all of you who've checked out this blog during the last three months!
