"Three Gazebos"
A view of the gazebos near the fishing pier at Seaman's Neck Park in Seaford, New York. This bayfront park is about 200 yards from my back door and deck, as the proverbial crow flies, and thus it's a part of many photos I shoot from here. Most of the time, especially in my sunrise images, its part of the horizon. But on the foggy March morning when I took this picture, nearly 4 years ago - and only three months after moving here from Massapequa, I made the three and a half mile drive up 'my' peninsula, east on Merrick Road, then down the length of Seaman's Neck and into the park. I wanted to see if I could find any interesting objects to shoot in the fog, and I'm very pleased with how this image came out. About the only thing that might have improved this image is if the sodium vapor park lights had been lighted. Maybe next time.
