"Ram On, Chiaroscuro"
Today's image is the 10th I've posted here, from this ongoing series from Vanderbilt Mansion. This National Historic Site, in Hype Park, NY, was built in 1898 by Frederick William Vanderbilt, a grandson of "Commodore" Cornelius Vanderbilt - at one time the richest man in America.
This 7th image of statuary is this last of a batch I shot of the rear portico here, which faces the Hudson River and the distant Catskill Mountains.
Tomorrow I'll start with the rest of the images from this series, before moving on to some pictures from a few more recent photo shoots - including a large batch I shot this past Sunday morning, much closer to home.
