"Headlights - '53 Dodge B Series Pickup"
A fourth image from this series on a relic Dodge pickup truck, discovered recently at a nearby marina. I have three more pictures left to edit and post of this vehicle before moving on to something different. In the meantime, though, tomorrow I get to enjoy Part Two of a root canal! It's only my second one ever, the first being back in the late '70's - and they haven't become any more enjoyable since then.
On the gallery show front, I'm having two prints matted and framed, and I'll be delivering them to Mill Street Loft in Poughkeepsie next Thursday on my day off. They'll be part of the Our Towns Juried Exhibition at Mill Street's Gallery 45, and the Opening Night Reception is May 21st. That show runs through July 15th. Next up after that, I have one photo that will be part of the Early Morning After Dark: Dawn's First to Dusk's Last Light Juried Exhibition, that will be held at the MPLS Photo Center in Minneapolis, starting on June 24th and running through August 13th.
I'm also waiting to hear if any of my images will be included in the 16th Annual National Juried Competition at Soho Photo in NYC. This show opens on July 7th and runs through August 6th. We're supposed to find out the results by the end of the month, so I'm keeping my fingers, toes, eyes and every other conceivable parts of the body crossed until then. If I make it into that show, I'll be 4 for 4! Now all I need are for some sales to start happening, so I can start seeing a little return on my investments. I have one other show I'll be entering this Friday, at Art League of Long Island's 55th Long Island Artists Exhibition in Dix Hills, NY. That show will open on June 19th and run through July 17th.
